The fab five of Forgotten Lores are well known to Icelandic hip hop heads. With two brilliant LP's and countless shows under their belt they've reached the ears of numurous people, not exclusively with in the hip hop community but also with music enthusiasts in general.

About a year ago their last album "Frá Heimsenda" came out, at which point fans had been waiting for three years for them to follow up on their debut LP "Týndi Hlekkurinn".

When or if a new FL album will ever see the light of day is something impossible to tell, but that's a different story.

"REST OF 2000 - 2007" is a collection of old and rare recordings, previously unreleased material and remixes that have piled up since they began their collaboration in 2000.

Some of this material has been released on compilation albums, mixtapes or through the net while some has never reached the public ear until now.

For those who already grow restless for a new FL album we hope this release will bring some peace of mind. And for the rest of you, whether you know Forgotten Lores and these songs or not, we hope you will enjoy!
